1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, as well as large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive right up to walls without hitting them, and was able to traverse thresholds that were raised in the room without issue, though it occasionally was unable to navigate down stairs in a single move. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or carpet.
The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for about twelve cleaning sessions before it needs to be cleaned, although it will differ based on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating well. In order to do this, you'll have to rinse out the dirty water tank occasionally to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting clogged by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just moving the pad across it. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station, if needed.
The robot is simple to install and use, with a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It comes with a hand vacuum that recharges to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and filled whenever required. It comes with a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with strong suction that effortlessly picks up most debris and even the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are robust, however it does sometimes get hung in the small area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual border within the app). Mopping capabilities are quite good, with a pair spinning mops which are able to lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the best mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure an effective, customized cleaning is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation is smart, navigating small spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It is able to move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is a great feature for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a large margin over obstacles. This can result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and streamlined. It should be easy to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop setting, and view 2D and 3-D maps. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will require a reliable internet connection to use it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are excellent at picking up dirt and debris, but they can't reach every speck of dust. It is important to clean often, at least once a week. This is especially important for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network, and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it is cheaper because it does not have mopping capabilities and has a plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to clean your floors, the Q5 still offers the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic emptying system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It also has a clever application that lets you choose the type of floor and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa capacity to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area rug, but it was unable to pick up cables or kitty litter that's not a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we've tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home. This will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. It also is able to collect more dust in the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters, which further reduces costs. automatic vacuum is able to detect carpets, and increase suction if necessary. You can also mark areas you want to keep out of the app.
